Cookie notice
Tripmet uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. This page lists exactly what is used, why, and how to change your mind.

The short version
Two kinds of storage are in play. The first is essential and cannot be switched off, because without it you cannot stay signed in. The second is Google Analytics, which helps us see which destination pages and features are actually useful. Analytics never loads until you accept it. If you choose essential only, no analytics script is downloaded and no data is sent to Google.
Essential storage
These make the site work. They are always active, and they never track you across other websites.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase session token | Keeps you signed in between visits so you do not re-enter your password on every page. | Up to 1 week, renewed while you use the site |
| Cookie preference | Remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics, so we do not ask again. | Until you clear your browser data |
Analytics cookies (optional)
Set by Google Analytics 4. They tell us how many people visit, which destinations get the most attention, and where people lose interest. We see aggregated numbers, not your identity. These are only set after you accept.
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes one visitor from another so return visits can be counted separately. | 2 years |
| _ga_5MK0RQRPWJ | Keeps your session on Tripmet joined up, so activity is attributed to the right visit. | 2 years |
Google acts as our processor for this data. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles analytics data.
Changing your mind
You can switch analytics off again at any time. Selecting the button below clears your saved choice, and the banner will reappear so you can pick again. Choosing essential only stops analytics loading from then on.
Clearing your choice also works by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
